What is CHEZ REA?Rea is my last name, and Chez Rea is what we call our home and family. That’s French for the Rea House, and it rhymes. Say “shay ray” and you’re pronouncing it right. Thus I call my garden the CHEZ REA GARDEN.
What is A WELL WATERED GARDEN?
I've chosen this title for my garden journal because I hope that sharing what's going on in my garden would be refreshing to others who visit this site as well as to myself. Also, the title alludes to a Bible verse, Isaiah 58:11, and reminds me of how God feeds and restores my soul just like water nourishes and strengthens my garden. I want to be LIKE A WELL-WATERED GARDEN!
"The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be LIKE A WELL-WATERED GARDEN, like an ever-flowing spring."
Isaiah 58:11 (NLT©)
